It’s only September and I already miss this place…
Couple of quick notes:
1) If you wanted to know, my favorite places around Amherst are High Horse, Esselon Café, and Miss Saigon!! (Fresh Side and Hillside Pizza are close runner-ups)
2) Take advantage of outdoor seating while it’s still warm. It’s wonderful and guarantees happiness (unless it’s super muggy or mosquito-y. ain’t nobody want that triple E)
Miss Saigon Pho – …Miss Saigon Warm Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad – Esselon Café
Seaweed Salad – Fresh Side
Summer Cocktail – Johnny’s Tavern
Onion & chive Cream Cheese on Cheese Bagel with Turkey and Cheddar – Bruegger’s Bagels
Roasted Eggplant Caprese Special –Spoleto Northampton
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich w/ Sweet Potato Fries – The Pub
“The Frenchman” – High Horse
Sesame Chicken…and Dumplings – Panda East
Taro Froyo w/ da best toppings – Froyoworld
Water in a mason jar (so hip!) and Hard Cider – High Horse
With my partner-in-crime/eating at High Horse. He is indeed one of my favorite people to eat with. And yes, we split THREE flatbreads. DON’T JUDGE US.
My favorite flatbread at High Horse, the Breakfast Flatbread – uh, High Horse
Spicy Coppola Flatbread – High Horse
Fig and Goat Cheese Flatbread – High Horse (not going to lie, I usually love the fig goat cheese combo, but this was a bit too sweet for me)
Arugula and Quinoa Salad – Esselon Café
Photos are making me hungry! I will have to try Miss Saigon next time I am in Amherst.
